How to lock account after three invalid attempts in windows 7

Now we come to little security in windows . We can set the conditions in our windows 7 account. So that if any unauthorized try to password guessing on your account . If you set conditions then account will be locked after three invalid tries . it make your windows secure .

Follow these steps : -

1. Start Run (ctrl + r) and type "secpol.msc"
2. Now Local Security policy will be opened

3. Now Go to Account policies Tab
4. Go to the Account Lockout Policy
5. Now set Account Lockout threshold (Means after how many invalids attempt your account get locked),
Account Lockout duration (Means duration till the account locked ) .

Everything is set . Now if any unauthorized person try to login your account . Your account will be locked after three invalid attempts . Enjoy
