Ettercap Tutorial Arp poisoning Example.

Ettercap is mostly used to sniff in the Local Area Network. It is mostly used man in the middle attack . Today we will show you how to sniff passwords over the network .

This tutorial is only for Educational purpose . Don't use it for any wrong purpose.

Download and install in Linux .

# apt-get install ettercap-gtk ettercap-common

Before proceeding please perform these steps too.




To open ettercap graphically from konsole

# ettercap -G


Now you will get the ettercap like this .

Now click on the sniff and Goto unified sniffing then choose your network interface

Now we will scan for hosts in our network .

Here you will get list like this . By click on the host list.
To perform Arp poisoning . Click on Mitm --> Arp Poisoning ---> Sniff Remote Connection ...
Now Add ip of your choice you like to sniff . Click on ip and Press Add to target 1 button 
Now start sniffing to perform all your actions . Now sniffing is started . In your Lan if anyone trying to login your website you will get the result.

Now you can see here down .... Where HTTP logged ... username : hello and password : hello. ,... When some user will open any website .. you will get all the results here. ... Enjoy
